The Last Farm on Chappaquiddick
Author: Edo Potter

$22.95 in Paperback

Here is a charming memoir from a woman whose family has since 1928 owned and operated the largest and now the last farm on the “little” island of Chappaquiddick, a few dozen yards across the water from Martha’s Vineyard.

She covers the years from 1933 to 1945 when she, her two sisters, and her parents- both from wealthy Boston families- became summer residents and truck farmers on Chappaquiddick. She talks of growing up there and of the changes in the island over the last years, including the impact of the famous Dike Bridge accident involving the late Sen. Edward “Ted” Kennedy.

This book includes historical photos showing Chappaquiddick in its early days. An unusually personal story of a unique place and time.
